Shirt studs

Lot of black and white shirt studs. All but one of the studs have small rounded heads, tapering necks, and broad bottoms. The one that is different is black and has no rounded head. All of them have smooth bottoms, except for a white one. That one white stud has a ridged bottom.

Netsuke

Ivory netsuke in the shape of a wood carver, working on a plank of wood. The man is in motion; he has already smoothed the board several times and the remnants can be seen on the board and on the ground. He wears a headband and is dressed in Japanese traditional clothes.

1893 Columbus half dollar commemorating the Columbian Exposition. On the obverse side is a bust of Columbus, and the outer edge of the coin has words. The reverse has Columbus's flag ship ontop of two spheres of the world. There are also words on the outer edge.

Unframed sampler with nine iterations of the alphabet, two verses, two urns of flowers and two baskets of fruit; separated by red horizontal bands; yellow oval at bottom with maker's name and date inside, "Mary Perrin May/February 1825."

Rectangular mahogany desk box with brass inlay. Hinged lid with brass corners and engraved nameplate. Box interior has a red leather writing surface and three small compartments. The short sides of the box have a small narrow drawer with a brass pull handle.

Unadorned rectangular pine storage box with hinged lid. Keyhole in center of front panel. Box exterior has been stained a dark brown.

Pie plate extractor

Wood and metal kitchen implement. Spring loaded tongs mounted on a wooden rod. Used to pull hot pie plates out of the oven. According to the donor this device was invented by Charles C. Barrell.
