The Samuel Adams statue, done by Anne Whitney, stands in Adams Square at the intersections of Brattle, Cornhill, Devonshire and Washington Streets. The area was demolished to create Government Center. Faneuil Hall can be seen in the background. The statue now stands behind Faneuil Hall.
